  • 25 July: How do we create in times of chaos? with Tanya Marlow

Can disaster and distress actually be a help, or even a precursor, to creative endeavour?

How do we create in times of chaos? Can disaster and distress actually be a help, or even a precursor, to creative endeavour? Tanya Marlow, author of Those Who Wait and lecturer in pastoral theology, will be combining her training in counselling and English literature in teaching how to harness our emotions in creativity. She’ll be covering memoir-writing and how doing mindfulness exercises can help us to write emotionally honest characters in fiction and creative non-fiction, and how our creative process mirrors the creative process of God. Find her on www.Tanyamarlow.com

The event will not be running for the full time specified.  Unlike the other three sessions, this event begins at 09.30h ends 12.00 noon, two hours with a 30 minute break in the middle.

This event is subsidised by ACW and is free to members. Details of how you may make a donation towards costs will be included in the email confirming your place.

Please book me a place on 'Creativity Amid Chaos' with Tanya Marlow on Saturday, 25 July.
